Meet Pastor Gatlin & Sheryl

With over five decades of faithful ministry, Pastor Gatlin and Sheryl have dedicated their lives to serving the Lord and His people. Their journey has taken them to many places, but in 1968, they planted roots at First Assembly, where Pastor Gatlin served as Lead Pastor until 2020.

Together, they have built a legacy of love, leadership, and unwavering commitment to the local church. Pastor Gatlin and Sheryl are the proud parents of three children, grandparents to nine, and great-grandparents to twelve.

Now enjoying a well-deserved season of retirement, they continue to serve at First Assembly while also traveling and embracing the blessings of this chapter in life. Their hearts remain devoted to ministry, and their impact continues to inspire generations.
